Enabling a bilingual partnerships team with one training system.
How an international education body gave its team across Egypt and the Gulf one consistent way to present its offer, faculty proposition and partnerships, in English and Arabic.
The situation
The organization was growing across several markets, and more people were speaking to doctors, faculty and partners on its behalf. Each conversation represented the brand, the certification offer and the partnership proposition.
The knowledge behind those conversations sat with a few senior people. New team members learned by listening in and improvising.
The real constraint
Consistency, not effort. Messages varied between people and between markets. Arabic-speaking team members were translating key ideas on the fly, so the same offer could sound different in every call. In B2B growth, that inconsistency shows up as slower deals and more repeated explanations.
The decision
Build one training system instead of relying on shadowing: a structured book the whole team learns from, with speaker notes written in both English and Egyptian Arabic, so the same story is told the same way in either language.
What I built
- A 160-slide team training book covering the organization, its offer and specialties, the professional pathway, the faculty proposition, partnership models and common objections.
- Full speaker notes in English and Egyptian Arabic for every slide.
- Modules that can be taught on their own, so onboarding can be scheduled in short sessions.
- A companion faculty partnership presentation, refined to 21 slides, for external conversations.
What changed
Onboarding now follows a defined curriculum instead of shadowing. Team members in different markets start from the same proposition and the same answers to common questions, and senior leaders spend their time on the conversations that need them.
Apply it yourself
- Could two people on your team explain your offer the same way?
- Is your sales and partnership material available in every language your team uses with clients?
- Can a new hire learn the core story without shadowing for weeks?
- Are common objections and the best answers written down?
- Is your external presentation aligned with your internal training?
A team can only sell consistently what it has learned consistently.
